For everyone that asks why I love these Serbian Weddings so much just look at these photos! We start around 9am and people are already drinking plum brandy and dancing to the accordion. When the Groom show up he typically shoots an apple from a tree to show his worthiness (some cities don’t allow this) then the bartering for the bride begins. Notice the fake bride always comes out first. Anyway these couples have always been the sweetest and every year we shoot many from the same community which means I get to party with so many of the friends/past couples I have shot for the last 20ish years!
