New Image Photography was founded by Jonathan Koslen over thirty years ago in Cleveland, Ohio. After working in Israel as a photojournalist, Jonathan’s focus was primarily fashion photography. One day during a photo shoot, a model asked if he could photograph her wedding. She said she was looking for someone to just “show up and shoot what’s going on.” Jonathan did just that, and from there went on to create one of Cleveland’s most prominent wedding photography studios. Over two thousand weddings later, Jonathan treats every wedding with as much enthusiasm and excitement as his first year in business. His style is described as “photojournalistic and event portraiture with a high fashion twist”. New Image is unobtrusive and refined yet also cutting-edge and avant-garde.
With studios based in Cleveland, Ohio and South Florida, New Image is a boutique destination photography studio that caters to every bride who walks through our doors. Our team of master photographers has a refined understanding of the subtleties and nuances a wedding brings. Each and every event is covered by at least two photographers. The studio’s focus is always on the couple, however, having two photographers allows for plenty of opportunity to also shoot the parents and their friends. Jonathan understands that a wedding is a big day for everyone and he and his associates work extremely hard to exceed expectations. As a result of this talent and work ethic, New Image has been preferred vendors for The Ritz Carlton, Renaissance Hotel, Marriott Key Center, Cleveland Museum of Art, Hillbrook Club, Landerhaven, and many others.

Saige started with New Image Photography back in 2014. At just 15 years old, she was fascinated by photography. On an off chance he would give her a shot she sent Jonathan an email asking if she could learn from him. From there her professional photography flourished. She shot her first wedding at the Ritz, quickly becoming Jonathan’s go to second shooter. Once she graduated from high-school Saige went on to study Creative Photography at Humber College in Toronto, Canada. Studying under masters of photography such as Sam Sciarrino, Keda Z, Nik Pekridis and more. She went on to work at multiple studios in Toronto, eventually coming back to Cleveland. She loves all of her New Image Photography clients and feels honored to be the one to be chosen to capture your families life changes, from baby namings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, to your Weddings. She loves what she does, and almost never feels like she’s working when she is capturing such heart warming moments. Her clients remember her for the her out of the box ideas, and the crazy things she does to capture the moment. From running into a lake, to standing in 4 feet of snow Saige, will do what it takes to get that magic moment.

Adela is our newest member on the team. Her passion for photography started very early in her teen years when she started modeling. She enjoyed being in front of the camera and also had a curiosity of what it would be like to be behind the camera…to be the director, the creator, the artist with the magic eye. She approaches each session with attention, creativity, passion and love. She likes to create emotional art that leaves people inspired. In every photograph she finds a reflection of herself and theres no surprise photography is the love of her life!

Jonathan’s Daughter she literally grew up with a camera in her hand. Ayla first shot video by accident as the video guy the couple thought they hired was in another state. The wedding coordinator calmly whispered “Can one of you shoot video” . She loves it and has been a very fast learner.
